David,

We are working to get our partners and end-users access to IBM's global DCF
(that is where you found the article I believe), but the process takes
time. I hope by November that team will have worked that issue out.

Thanks for the information, Leroy -- that info is not on the web site!!
See
following rant...

<RANT>
Why is it that in TechConnect, I type 'Telnet Disconnect' and get nothing
about this issue, but if I click 'Support and Downloads' from IBM's Main
page and type the same thing, this is issue #1, and lists that it
explicitly
applies to UniData/UniVerse with a 02/2004 date? Hmmmm.. That would seem to
qualify it to show in TechConnect to me...

Worse, since I merely have a TechConnect sign on, I can't even *read* the
whole article, even though I would like to... I then try and find the
article in TechCOnnect where (in my mind) it belongs, and cannot.

Who should handle this type of issue of things being dropped about into
different locations on the web site? It's very frustrating to know *where*
to go look, then have the ability to do so!

David,

That statement would not be entirely true. U2 products are telnet-based and
vendors of network adaptors..... \<snippage>
