Hi David, I would suggest an ssl/ssh component using a 1024bit key or similar. You can get an OCX from http://www.weonlydo.com/index.asp?showform=SSH I don't use VB but use ssh with 1024bit RSA encrypted keys and this seems to be pretty useful at keeping the riffraff out.
