I can open the files just fine, I can't write the files. Is this still the same issue? or something else?
Am I able to reread the config file without shutting down UV and restarting it? otherwise I won't be able to test the change until tomorrow.
You have to stop UV and run uvregen anytime you change a setting in uvconfig. That should fix your problem. I have ALLOWNFS set to 1 and have no problem modifying or deleting smb mounted files.
