Has anyone had concurrency issues with the xmlparser function?
We're getting the following error when we have several phantoms handling
incoming XMLs under load:
Abnormal termination of UniVerse.
Fault type is 13. Layer type is BASIC run machine.
Fault occurred in BASIC program GRXMLHANDLER at address 5e4.
A vlist of the code shows 5e4 to be on the prepareXML() function.
The <!DOCTYPE ... dtd> has been commented out at this stage so it's not
actually trying to validate the XML, only ensure it's well formed. However,
of hundreds of XML being received this occurs only when there seems to be a
concurrency issue.
I am going to try using a semaphore lock for the moment and see if this
resolves the issue.
Any other suggestions welcome.
