Just wondering if anyone out there has used the new WebSphere MQ API's that are provided with Universe 10.1.1 and if so have you found any problems with the product?
Hi Jeremy,
only peripheraly an answer to your question but:
We have a GCI interface to MQ (for sale) which has worked with UniVerse for 5 years now, so if you want MQ without the AMI in between or you want to run MQ with UniVerse on a platform which the AMI does not support, but also if you want to chat about our experience using MQ mail me offlist.
In general, we found that MQ was a great way to talk to webservers (and other systems) and it was easy to scale as you could have multiple phantom processes serving any MQ queue. It was fast, reliable and you could use it to make your application very secure from protocol attacks (obviously a semantic attack is going to get you regardless of your transport method).
