All, I have a problem with a Solaris Uv installation - has anyone seen this behavious before?
UniVerse 10.1.0 I have a number of processes, all of which are sitting at the same BASIC INPUT prompt (part of a menu system). For some reason, several of these are contending over the CPU and pushing it to 100%. A truss shows them looping doing reads from stdin. No disk activity, plenty of memory, no swapping or page outs - what gives? The rest of the processes at the same point are well-behaved, sleeping and awaiting input. They are running over ssh - but they have an identically configured backup box, and I cannot get that box to exhibit the same behaviour.
