Test Data : 500,000 invoice records,
a trigger with a RETURN as the first statement
Method : Copy from XXX to YYY (where YYY has the trigger added)
Done after hours on a fairly idle box.
nmon : reported a CPU usage of 85-98%, mainly 98.6 to 98.8 range.

Adrian, you're right.
My "without" copy took 60.2 seconds,
the "with" copy (with just the RETURN) took 603.7 seconds!!!

Sadly, it just isn't worth going the trigger route. Perhaps IBM should
take note - this is DEFINITELY just a marketing ploy (Leroy? Kurt?
Jackie?)
