Hi David, what is the statement in program XXXX line 999, that causes the error?
We get (sometimes) a "Seek operation failure" by one of our nigthy cron jobs, when repeatedly opening a large, distibuted file with some indexes. We solved the problem by making the program sleep for 5 seconds before retrying the open. It works!
