Hi ennis,
Cant it be read ONCE and put into one (or more) named common variables?I could do that, but I am trying to have the data cached by a process (object loaded) without having to read the data. This works nicely on UV and has the advantage that you can load the program into shared memory so that a font only gets loaded once for the system.
I think I'm going to have a bash at run/length encoding the font data to reduce the size of the font program.
