I am using the touch.exe to create a file used as a container for a tab-delimited file output by WRITESEQ. I thought the touch command would recreate the file upon each execution, but have discovered that I am overwriting the previous iteration of the file. If the current output does not exceed the length of the previous iteration, I end up with some of the data from the previous iteration "appended" to the bottom of the current output. I would like to know if there is a switch or usage of touch.exe that ensures I am starting each time with an empty container. Universe 9.5.1.1b W2K SP4 Thanks for your assistance.
