Does anybody know if there is a similar process for enhancing terminal emulation characteristics on Unidata?

What you have to do is; Cd /usr/ibm/uv/terminfo (or wherever 'uvhome' is) Rm -rf - (gets rid of whats there) Now you may have to tweak the terminfo.src file located in '/usr/ibm/uv/sample'. Then you want to repopulate the terminfo directory by doing /usr/ibm/uv/uvtic -a /usr/ibm/uv/sample/terminfo.src then /usr/ibm/uv/tiindex then stop and start Universe. This usually does the trick for me. Actually, I keep a copy of the terminfo.src from a 'working' system on my PC. I usually copy that to any new install and take it from there. I installed UV 10 on Fedora Core 2 (just to see how it runs). It Installed fine, seems to run ok. But one thing I noticed. If I list a file.. 1. the screen clears 2. I get $<50> Before the header. So far I haven't noticed anything else that has been pecurliar. Sounds like a termcap issue, how would I correct this?
