This is only for udt * not uv *. How to do "T.LOAD" from a Pick-style T-DUMP floppy :
You probably need to copy the diskette to a file on your hard disk. You may want to reuse a pre-existing tape image file, for instance some sites use a name like "C:\TEMP\WORKFILE" and such a name might already by set up as a tape unit -- try "T.STATUS" to see. If the first 512 bytes is a Pick-style tape label, make a file that starts at the 513th byte of the diskette. You can do that in a UniBASIC program NOCONVERT ON OSREAD TAPE.IMAGE FROM "file1" ELSE ABORT OSWRITE TAPE.IMAGE[513,123456789] ON "file2" * if your filename's not already setup * as a tape unit, then do T.STATUS * to make sure you're not clobbering * somebody else's tape unit, and then do SETTAPE 9 pathname pathname 512 * pathname is the file you created. * if unit 9 is busy, use some other number. T.ATT 9 T.LOAD MU 9 filename PICK * if you forget the "PICK" keyword, your * file will be full of pesky CHAR(251)'s. ------- u2-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/ CONFIDENTIALITY: This communication, including attachments, is for exclusive use of the addressee(s) and may contain proprietary, confidential or privileged information.
