Hello Marco,

How much /tmp space, and what is your uvtmp setting?
Please post your UVCONFIG.

How much swap space?
What type of file system, and how many disks?

What are your UnixWare parameters that you have
"optimised for UV"? What particular Rev of UnixWare, and UV?
Please post them.

Run a "set > set_out.txt" and then run a "env >> set_out.txt",
both from a user id login that you're getting this error with,
and please post it.

Why the need for mallocating in one big chunk?
ulimit?

What type of application?
VAR package? If so, what VAR?
Is this application previously on a different platform?
If so, what, (specifics please)?

If I recall correctly, in UnixWare, got to make
any/all config changes via the GUI tools, or any changes made
at command line go "buh bye" at reboot.

Specific solutions need lots of specific data to look at, and
sometimes lots of different sets of eyes looking.

Regards,
Scott

Subject: [U2] How to setup MALLOCTRACING?

Unixware. I haven't been able to receive feedback from anyone on the list
running UV on Unixware on how they have configured their system and how much
memory they can be mallocated in one big chuck. I can only get 30Mb max
before the memory exceeded error is thrown even though I have 8 Gig RAM and
am the only user on the system. The system runs nothing else but UV and all
possible Unixware parameters must be optimised for UV.
