If you watch the size at a UNIX level, the file(s) will grow as the
memresize progresses. With dynamics it is harder monitor, by with statics,
the size should give you some idea.

I can't really see what to monitor though.  I can't set a pointer and do an
ISTAT on it to see how full the first groups are - this locks until the
resize is complete.

The last slow one I had was 11% level 1.  It failed to finish in 2 hours but
has since resized in 15 minutes.
