I am stilling desperately trying to locate a Teleport tape. I have the two generations of Teleports that existed but I have no way of preserving the ability to demonstrate its features without the Teleport install tape. That install tape could also be preserved on any of the back-up tapes from systems that had Teleport installed.

Would you mind making a U2 post for this appeal or letting a friend of yours do it? I would love to get back on the list and intereact with a wonderful group of people but I determined when I quit not to get back on until I can say that Database Scientifics is up and running as a legit non-profit to develop Open Source Pick stuff. I have been close several times but so far no cigar.

To refresh your memory. Teleport was a device that turned an IBM PC into a Pick thick client of sorts by temporarily putting the application on the PC, rather than on the Pick box. The main feature at the time was that it avoided the echo interups that each character typed produced thus making the Pick box much faster.

I have included my address so that someone can just let that tape appear on my doorsteps without my knowing where it came from.
