Dear all,
I want to check if the current user is OS/UV Administrator to perform restricted OS/UV commands like uvbackup/uvrestore!
Under "Unix" implementation, the uv's documentation explain SYSTEM(27) return the OS User-Id and by the way, if User-ID is 0 ; it is root !
Ok, but if I log under "unix" with a non-root user and I execute a su or sudo to "root" and load a uv session, the SYSTEM(27) is 0 but uvbackup show errors and do'nt run correctly.
By the same, if the non-root user is member of root group, uvbackup do'nt run correctly too.
Any idea to be sure the user is UVAdministrator ? Many thanks
