The messages seems to indicate UV isn't aware of the OpenLink ODBC driver
manager...

Did you re-link UV to the ODBC driver DLLs? See the BCI guide for details.

See page 27...Chapter 1-9

Subject: [U2] OpenLink ODBC Drivers and Universe 10 on AIX 5.2

                Hiya

                Hope everyone is well

                We have installed OpenLink ODBC drivers (multitier) on our
Universe 10 box so we can chat to some MicroSoft SQL databases we have.

                Here is the uvodbc.config file

                <sql2>
                DBMSTYPE = ODBC
                NETWORK = TCP/IP
                SERVICE = oplrqb < OpenLink process
id that is running on the AIX>
                HOST = sql2                             < sqlserver named IP
which is in /etc/hosts>

                Here is what we get when using CONNECT sql2 in Universe ;

                >CONNECT sql2
                Enter username for connecting to 'sql2' DBMS [root]: xxxxxx
                Enter password for tlogtest:xxxxxx
                SQLConnect error:   Status = -1   SQLState = IM976   Natcode
= -1
                [ODBC:-1] Data source name not found, or ODBC is not
installed on the system

                Any one got any ideas on what we have missed

                Thanks

                Bob
