I'm not sure what "need to be able to raise an error similar to the way the
odbc raises error." means.

You don't mention if you're using BCI, just "odbc". Can we assume you are?
Platform? OS?

Do you want UniVerse to read the ODBC errors raised by the SQLServer stored
proceedure call?

Or

Do you want UniVerse to generate ODBC errors to pass to the SQLServer stored
proceedure? If so, I not sure why you need to do this.

Subject: [U2] Raising errors through ODBC

does anyone have an example of raising errors through ODBC (or any other
way) to Universe.

Environment ..

uv10x using odbc to read/write data to MSSqlServer. We are using a stored
procedure in SqlServer and need to be able to raise an error similar to the
way the odbc raises error.

I have looked around and not found any info on this .. if you could point me
in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it

thanks
