Doesn't UniObjects have to go through a 'login in' of types identifying the
user, even though it is not executing the LOGIN paragraph? And if so, can
you use the underlying OS to make files 'safe' from those users, restricting
even read-access?

Twiddle the PAM config file if your on unix so that services don't go
through the user login process.  Send them off to something else...

I don't know of anyway to keep them out of a Windows system though.
