I remember getting a tip from a co-worker to decatalogue the program twice. On the second decatalogue, the global catalogue is removed.

Which reminds me of the trouble I had before I realized that "memory-locked" (we use to say "Core-locked") routines, have to be re-locked before the system will utilize the new version. Not exactly your problem but related to it. "Oh yeah in order for that routine to work, we always had to reboot the system ...." (actually heard at a client site).
