Maybe you should (re)read the thread on sequential IDS --> simply have a "counter" that you increment and you can then be sure to maintain the correct sequence of events. If you want you could then add time() as part of the key, but the REAL, absolute sequence is then derived from your sequential ID, and the noted time is simply ancillary documentation
