I've seen similar issues with Dynamic Connect and Wintegrate when running them on XP machines that also have the microsoft spyware scanner. It usually works, but every so often the spyware gums up the works and then DC or Wintegrate simply don't startup. You get the splash screen and that's it.
Windows is really starting to seem like a tricycle with training wheels. With the spyware, virus, firewall, and other "toys" running on the system there's often little processor left for the application. We recently "upgraded" our email system from GroupWise to Exchange/Outlook. Now we get "nannyware" popups when our custom reporting software goes to send an email. Oh for the glory days of a simple terminal for every user... (just kidding, for me I want a quad processor Opteron machine with lots of memory!) ------- u2-users mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/
