Rings a bell - a recent issue came up with file naming conventions on
temporary workfiles if you supply the same user id credentials. 

Try supplying a different user ID (UID) for each pane - if the problem "goes
away"  and then "comes back" with the same ID you have a tacky workaround
for the interim. Let us know......
