After I moved to a small city in Iowa a couple of years ago, someone at
church asked me if I could help get his company's IT function more smoothly,
so I did a few hours of consulting for him over the next couple of months. I
asked him what database his company used and he said "Informix" so it was
quite exciting to me when I logged in to find UniVerse running, along with a
U2 VAR application.

I recall there was a story that when IBM acquired the assets of Informix,
they were very surprised to find that they were end-users of a U2 database
themselves (in their call center IIRC).

And for every 3-4 U2 sites, there is another non-U2 PICK/MV site out there
-- pretty impressive for a database that was declared dead more than 20
years ago, eh? --dawn

My questions to the list are have any of you had similar experiences and how
