Serguei - I'm happy to say I don't represent either of the two types you mentioned, and neither do our contractors. The issue I documented (having to pay a contractor who re-wrote a lot of code without prior agreement) occurred about 14 years ago with my first business. One of the lessons I learned from that experience is that contractors need to be managed closely - not constrained of course, but everyone needs to be on board with the nature of the changes being made _before_ they're made.
