1) There is a way to either set most email clients a) not to respond to list messages, or b) to send only a single "away" message to any given email address.
2) There WON'T be 10 days worth of messages, as Mr Taylor has been unsubscribed. There may be a few more over the next hour or so, as messages may already be in the pipeline.
