Sunny,

you should be able to do this with UV.  There is a UV client/api that
allows SQL connection BCI.pdf discusses it. I've used it to write
wrappers to SqlServer.  It is kind of over engineered but generally
works very well.

It *sounds* like this might be the simplest method as you don't seem
to need anything really hightech.
