I've also taken a look at OOo, albeit in the context of supporting openqm as
opposed to U2. There's lots of potential there for ANY MV database.

I even dug down to see what might be involved in getting openqm recognized
as a datasource. At that time, all the database specs were SQL oriented. But
if the OpenOffice folks have open minds (sorry, couldn't resist), we'd be
smart to jump on this opportunity.
