In addition to the Dart controls already recommended, see http://catalyst.com/ for SocketTools. Over the years I've used many of their components, including the telnet protocol library and terminal emulation library - this last one is the one you'd be interested in. Very happy with them. You can also use the "internals" of AccuTerm to accomplish tasks - I've use the telnet connectivity component with no UI, but never tried to use the UI with a custom pipe like UO. This is still subject to licensing but you can discuss specifics with Pete Schellenbach. May I ask exactly what you're doing with this sort of interface? I find many times that people ask how to technically implement X because they want to do function Y, and it turns out the real technical solution may be to use Z. Here we go again with the notion of banging screws with hammers... :) If you do need something special written up and don't have the resources to do it internally, I'll be happy to consider such a project.
