NT and Win2K used to be 10 incoming IP addresses for non-server versions.

I believe there are some restrictions in windows xp, to prevent it being a
low cost server.  I think there is a limit of 6 incoming tcp/ip connections
to the box.  It is a while back so I am vague on the details, but you should
check that you can get the required number of people to logon to the box at
a time.
