However, you could use a trigger to capture and store that info yourself.  I
don't think it would be wise to do it with every field on every file, but if
it's something in particular that you want to record it's a really handy way
of doing it.

I do not believe such an element of information exists.  Universe
keeps header stats, but nothing on a record-by-record basis as best I
recall.
