We are on release 10.1.12 on Red Hat Linux and I know it works for us. I'm sure they would have noticed a problem with @LOGNAME it's one of the most used @variables.

Subject: [U2] UV - @LOGNAME not returned correctly inside a phantom

UniVerse 10.1.6 running on Solaris.

A sister site recently upgraded to 10.1.6 and has discovered that @LOGNAME doesn't return the user's login ID when the @LOGNAME variable is executed by a basic program. Has anyone else run into this, and is it corrected in a later release of UV? I can't find any reference to this in the read me files for later releases...

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
