I have a need to utilize the LOGON command and need some help with
configuring the port. UV help says that the port must be defined in the
&DEVICE& file, but does not say much about what goes in that definition.
Could anyone provide some help with the contents of the item?
SYNTAX
LOGON port [command]
QUALIFIERS
port The name of the terminal on which to start up
UniVerse. Prefix port with the string TTY (that
is, TTYport) to make up the name of the port
definition record, which must exist in the
&DEVICE& file.
command The command text. The command can be a stored
sentence or paragraph or a UniVerse command. It
cannot exceed 25 characters.
