Clif, my wife and I manage 'for free' over 100 email lists with nearly
5000 members spread throughout. As each list ebbs and flows, we find the
Reply-To = $LIST setting is absolutely necessary to keep the list alive.
But, for some very busy lists that couldn't be divided in a logical
manner, we've had to set Reply-To = $SENDER. Yes, we use Majordomo
(1.94.5). Those lists are our least popular. It's just the way of
'help-me' lists.

If I didn't spend so much time with my wife's lists, I'd love to volunteer
to help with u2-users. So, I very much appreciate your post and just
wanted to tell you 'Thanks' for speaking for me, too.
