Speaking of Zebra/Eltron printers: Supplies are available at
http://www.barcodewarehouse.biz.

This site by the way is a Universe Database run on a NT server with
IIS/ASP.NET using Uniobjects on a separate server. This worked very well
once we worked out the connection pooling. This is a fully dynamic website
and we were able to use all of your exist business logic for process of
orders. The inquiry, which is generally standard "SELECT" statements, is
done in real time and orders are process in real time. The freight/shipping
options actually use the same subroutine as our green screen application.

Ok, I am done patting myself on the back

Subject: RE: [U2] EPCL programming guide..eltron/zebra card printers..

Is it EPCL or EPL. I know that I have worked on some small footprint zebra
printers that use the EPL version of programming, which is similar to ZPL
but is different enough that the documentation is required.

I think that this came out of Zebra buying out a company that had the small
footprint printers. I want to say it was Eltron or something like that,
thus the EPL programming language.

Anyway, you should be able to find the documentation out at the Zebra
website for the EPL programming language.

I have been given the task of creating a basic card design program
for a zebra card printer, and it uses EPCL, not the HP PCL.

I haven't found any links yet for a programming guide, anyone here
know of any? How similar to ZPL is this?
