Oh yes - another change in UniData 7 in this area - I have put both below in
the thread to keep them together.

UniData 7.1.3

Issue 8597 - Problem Description

UniData -- Beginning at UniData 6.1.0, if a PHANTOM process was launched
from a udt session, and that udt session was closed improperly, such as
being killed from the shell level, the PHANTOM process terminated. Although
this problem may have occurred on any UNIX platform, it was most easily
observed on AIX, and has been fixed.

UniData 6.1.7

Issue 7427 - Problem Description

UniData -- After a PHANTOM process was invoked, entering Ctrl-C at the ECL
prompt in the session that invoked the PHANTOM caused the PHANTOM process to
stop. This has been fixed.
