Hi - I need a script to check if dbpause is on (using the dbpause_status command) I am trying to pipe the output through grep so I can tell the user in their login profile that the database is paused for certain reasons, and do they really really need to login The pipe doesn't seem to work , nor does redirection to a temporary file Is there a way around this? Thanks
