Has anyone configured their RHEL 4.0 system to authenticate against their active directory, to hopefully overcome the administration cost of maintaining both Linux and Windows security.
I haven't done this but I do recall an issue last year on the mailing list where uniobjects would only authenticate against the local user database and ignored LDAP authentication regardless of
