We mostly use AccuTerm here, but have a few SBClient licenses for testing/trial purposes. As Susan Joslyn noted, the Wyse-60 emulation seems to work well, and that's what we use. It also works well with our Link MC5 terminals.
As to program controls - you could always determine if you're using an SBClient emulation by checking TERM.DEFN<15>. The first three characters are usually "TU." for SBClient terminal types. If this is the case, you can proceed with SBClient downloads, etc. Otherwise, you would need to provide alternative interface software.
