David, Backup Exec has a default setting to backup open files "with" a lock. This will tend to terminate any UV processes that try to write to the files during the backup. Change the backup settings to backup open files "without" a lock. Kevin M. Sproule Sr. Technical Consultant AFS Technologies, Inc. 2141 E.
