has anyone got some implementation in PICK (UVI, U2, JBASE) BASIC (or somethig similar) of asymmetric encryption algorithm (public-key encryption)? i.e. RSA?

I'm not sure about recent uniVerse installs, but I know that UniDATA has been shipping with OpenSSL and it's quite easy to shell-out and use it for hashes, encryption, etc.

Doing it native will present some difficulties. mvBASIC doesn't have the greatest bit-wise operators and I've run into installs where UniDATA doesn't do 32-bit bit-wise operations correctly (running on 64-bit OSes).
