I wrote UniVerse Transaction Log Replication, an application that uses UniVerse Transaction Logging. It runs on Windows and *NIX. By using UniVerse Transaction Logging, it is not intrusive on an application.
It maintains synchronization between a primary and remote server. As logs become full, they are sent to the remote server and rolled forward against a copy of the primary database. It maintains consistency between the two servers when designating files for recoverability. The remote server can be used for disaster recovery, or as a report server. As a side note, the third installment of my UniVerse performance tuning series is now available on DeveloperWorks. > What have you/are you using for data replication across NT Universe > servers?
