The notion of u2ug being "responsible" for support could be a problem ... WHO will provide this? The executive? What is the status for a future executive member who may NOT want to be burdened with "formal responsibility" for software provided by previous executive members?
Whilst I think I understand the overall "intent", I don't see any Oracle or Microsoft user groups being "responsible" for support - they may well provide a discussion forum, but ...
