Did you do a search on the VOC for any Q pointers that point to that file? Then do a search for any VOC's that use that Q pointer.
did the ".Type30" or ".Type1" also disappear? If so, I would suspect something in the OS clearing things out. You might want to use "find" to see if there are any files in AIX that contain the filename, maybe a shell Somewhere. If it's only that one filename that it's happening to, you could use 'rdiff-backup' to keep a mirror of the file, (put in a cron job to run every hour), it will allow you to restore files as there were at certain date/times At least you would be able to restore the file with minimal loss, as well as pin point the time it happened. Do triggers still work, if the file is changed by the OS? maybe you could setup a trigger on the file to log any username/time/dates when a record is deleted. But if it's heavily used...that may slow the system down.
