Well ... It does not appear to be TEMP related...

Example:

SO... I cannot compile the EXISTING program, but if I copy the source it to
a new name, I **CAN** compile it.  So there is some permissions settings on
the EXISTING object code (_progname) file that is the issue -- the problem
is figuring out what.

I guess I'll just have the user compare the security of the two object codes
to see what is different - as bad as I hate that!

If this extra information rings bells, please let me know...
