Totalink has a multi-flavor BASIC interface for authorizing and settling
credit cards. It can use modem or SSL over the Internet. We've been running
their product for a while now and have had no major issues. My only
complaint is the fact that they don't support Level 3 reporting for
corporate purchasing cards. We have their product integrated into several
tools I've written including an automated one-step charge, ship, invoice,
and notify procedure. It has worked flawlessly, apart from the occasional
international card/bank that Vital has issues with.
