Old bug, fixed in 2003 in UniAdmin client. Upgrade UniAdmin or just avoid
the problem (don't click on either glm_tool or upl_tool in Tools folder in
UniAdmin).

Problem with 6.0 UniAdmin. If you launch
GLM_TOOL or UPL_TOOL and then just exit
 UniAdmin, the executable launched (glm_tool.exe)
keep running, consuming 100% of a cpu.

Hi,

I was visiting a customer site yesterday when they had problem with
their system running a process 'glm_tool.exe' which took 98%+ of the cpu
time and slowed response times to a crawl. I searched the machine and
found that the exe sits in ud/bin. Does anyone know what it is and why
it behaves like this? They are running Unidata 6.0 on a Windows platform,

thanks
