Or SELECT fieldlist FROM filename TOXML [ELEMENTS][WITHDTD] There is a short tutorial on using XML with Retrieve on the U2UG knowledge base. (www.mvopen.org/kb) I don't think your version of uv has the 'TO' keyword to capture XML, so use the DIVERT.OUT syntax in the tutorial.
