You can use the LIST and SORT commands in UniVerse, e.g.: SORT BOOK_TITLES WITH AUTHOR_NAME = "Eoin Colfer" You can send this to a system printer bvy adding LPTR: SORT BOOK_TITLES WITH AUTHOR_NAME = "Eoin Colfer" LPTR You can add break point and summary processing: SORT BOOK_TITLES BY GENRE BY DEPT BREAK.ON GENRE BREAK.ON DEPT TOTAL UNITS PCT UNITS AVG UNITS and suppress detail lines for total only: SORT BOOK_TITLES BY GENRE BY DEPT BREAK.ON GENRE BREAK.ON DEPT TOTAL UNITS PCT UNITS AVG UNITS ID.SUP HDR.SUP DET.SUP Add headers and footers for formatting: SORT BOOK_TITLES BY GENRE BY DEPT BREAK.ON GENRE BREAK.ON DEPT TOTAL UNITS PCT UNITS AVG UNITS HEADING "Stock Levels by Genre and Dept 'D'" and so forth.
