Sanjeeb, The D2/ is a conversion code and specifies a date with 2 digits in the year and to use '/' as delimiters e.g. 03/19/07 rather than 03/19/2007 (D4/).
You can get a list of conversion codes at ECL: HELP CONV And the manuals cover conversion codes in significant depth.
